En primer lugar, reciban mi respetuoso y cordial saludo. Les aseguro, que para mi, es un inmenso placer el invitarlos para que disfruten y celebren con nosotros el "Día Internacional del Ceviche"; en la ciudad mas Peruana de los Estados Unidos: PATERSON. Ciudad que esta siendo rebautizada como "La Ciudad de la Comida Peruana" QUE TAL HONOR!.
Antes de seguir, quiero felicitar una vez mas, a la sobresaliente empresaria Peruano-Americana HEIDI CASTRILLON por su profesionalismo y su Peruanismo, al promover un evento que deje en alto el nombre de uno de los platos bandera Peruanos mas famosos en todo el mundo como lo es el Ceviche. Las autoridades correspondientes y el publico en general deberian sentirse complacidos y orgullosos por el esfuerzo que se esta realizando para desarrollar un evento totalmente GRATUITO en beneficio de la comunidad peruana , esto si vale un PERU. Asi es como debemos hacer patria fuera de nuestras fronteras.
Paterson es una ciudad con alrededor de 60 mil Peruanos, que llegáron a buscar una mejor vida para sus familias desde la decada de los 50's. En esa ciudad, donde nacio el comico Lou Costello y que fuera bautizada como "Silk City" ; los Peruanos, y todo latino, afroamericano y gringo" -amigo nuestro- podra disfrutar, EL DIA 30 DE JUNIO de una gran variedad de cebiches: "Plato bandera del Perú" y otros potajes que acompañarán al mismo. Incluidos nuestros peruanisimos picarones y otras delicias que atraen a los mas finos e inquietos comensales Hispanos, Americanos, Europeos y Asiaticos.
Peruvian Ceviche Fest se realiza con el objetivo de darle el renombre internacional que debe tener nuestro plato bandera: Ceviche, uno de los potajes que deberia ya estar considerado como un patrimonio gastronómico cultural de la humanidad y que deberia ser parte del menu de cualquier Restaurante en el mundo, con una banderita Peruana al lado, En este punto, quisiera hacer un alto para felicitar a los Restaurantes Peruanos de la ciudad de Paterson que estan apoyando este evento,
Todos nuestros compatriotas Peruanos, y nuestros hermanos Hispanos, que viven en todo lo largo y ancho de los Estados Unidos de America deberian estar ahi ese dia, para que celebren con nosotros el "Día Internacional del Cebiche" en PATERSON, no importa de que Estado vengas, lo importante es que estes en Paterson y formes parte de la historia, no solo aistiendo al Primer año de celebracion de este dia, fuera del Perú, sino que vas a poder elejir -de entre varios cheff- al "Rey del Ceviche"; el único Rey fuera del Perú elejido por voto popular.
El lugar: 100 Hamilton Plaza en Paterson. Puntualmente, en la Plaza trasera debajo del Consulado Peruano de Paterson. Desde las 11:00 AM y con la presentacion de artistas nacionales e internacionales y bailes: andinos, marinera y afroperuanos. Tambien disfrutaras de Kambalache negro: musicos y bailarines. Terminando con Fuegos artificiales para nuestros niños y adultos.

First, please receive my respectful and cordial greetings. I assure you that for me it’s an immense pleasure to invite you to enjoy and celebrate "International Ceviche Day" in most Peruvian city of the United States: PATERSON, which is being renamed "The city of Peruvian Food" SUCH A GREAT HONOR!.
Before continuing, I want to congratulate once again the outstanding Peruvian-American entrepreneur HEIDI CASTRILLON for her professionalism and Peruvianism in promoting Ceviche in an event that positively represents one of the most famous Peruvian flagship dishes around the world. The authorities and the general public should feel pleased and proud of the effort being made to develop a completely FREE event for the benefit of the Peruvian community. This is how we celebrate our country beyond our borders.
Paterson is a city with about 60,000 Peruvians, who came to seek a better life for their families in the 50's. In this city, where comedian Lou Costello was born and which was baptized as "Silk City"; the Peruvians, and all Latino, African American and gringos"-friends of ours- can enjoy on JUNE 30TH a variety of ceviches: "Peruvian Flagship Dish" and other dishes that can be enjoyed together. Of course this will include our very Peruvian picarones and other delicacies that attract the finest and restless Hispanic, American, European, and Asian.
Peruvian Ceviche Fest is held with the aim of giving international popularity to our signature dish: Ceviche, one of the dishes that should already be considered a gastronomic cultural heritage of humanity and should be part of the menu of any restaurant in any part of the world, with a Peruvian flag next to it. At this point, I would like to pause to congratulate the Peruvian restaurants of the city of Paterson that are supporting this event.
All Peruvian and Hispanic brothers who live in the United States of America, we must be there for this day, supporting our gastronomic culture with our presence. So come to celebrate our "International Ceviche Day" in PATERSON, no matter what state you come from, what matters is that you are in Paterson and become part of history, not only visiting the first anniversary of the International celebration of this day, outside Peru, but you'll be able to choose between several different chefs for the "King of Ceviche", the only King elected through popular vote.
The place: 100 Hamilton Plaza in Paterson. On the Plaza behind of the Peruvian Consulate in Paterson. From 11:00 am and with the presentation of national and international artists and dance: Andean and Afro-Peruvian seafood. Also you can enjoy black Kambalache: musicians and dancers.
The event will end with fireworks show for all attendees.
